The game and billiard room is decorated in the style of the French neorenaissance of 1900, adding to that historic style elements of the Art Noveau of the period. The wooden panelling, wall paper, fireplace and bronze light fittings reflect exactly the flavour of the times.
The portrait of a woman, a model of the artist’s imagination, was painted by the Chilean painter, Marcial Plaza Ferrand (1879 – 1948) who was made famous at him beginning of the century with his elegant and provocative feminine figures which were often produced on the front of magazines. This painting was given as a present to Mauricio Braun by his partner, Juan Blanchard.
